So for Martin Luther King we eked, way back in Jan, Justin and I both had a 3 day weekend. So we headed to Winter Haven to see Nama and Pampa. Saturday morning we were able to go and see Pampa's new framing store, which looks wonderful. Brought back a lot of memories for me because I worked in a frame shop in high school. That afternoon we figured we do something a little different, and not too expensive, so we headed up to Downtown Disney to walk around. It is so nice because there is no cost to get in and there are a ton of shops and little things to see. They have a new dinosaur restaurant with a little gift shop. Since Logan was on a dinosaur kick we walked in there. He was so excited to see all the dinosaurs moving around. They also have a Lego store with an area where you can build stuff and a little playground. So we let Logan run around a play a bit. Too many bigger kids for Nathan to go. Logan was going up the stairs, running across the bridge and headed down the slide like a pro. He was doing it by himself with a HUGE smile on his face. It was so cute. We headed in a few more stores to look around. Then we saw it... the mini train ride. Oh my goodness. Logan is really getting into trains. So of course we had to go and ride the train. BIG smiles from my little guys on this one. Then we saw the merry go round. So of course we had to try that one next. Again big smiles. But after the 5th time around the little circle we were all getting a little woozy. :) We splurged for dinner and went to Planet Hollywood. Logan was point at everything telling us what all it was. He thought it was so neat that there were cars, boats and airplanes hanging from the ceiling. Of course on the way home Logan passed out in the jeep and only woke up long enough to get some pjs on and was back out. Nathan took a mini nap, and hung out another hour. During his bath he had a blast because he had the whole tub to himself. I don't think this has happened since he has been out of his sling. He was doing so good moving around. Picking up the ball and putting it on the soup shelf. It was so sweet. Sunday we took the day just to relax. We had a great weekend with Nama and Pampa.
