June - yard work & car washing

Okay, so June was a busy month. We did get to have some fun playing in friends pools. The boys really began to take to the water. Logan is becoming more independent with his swim ring. Nathan still wants to be on someone rather than a ring. He is very adventurous around stairs. He will put his arms down so he can float on his belly and will even put his face in the water. Dare-devil. Of course we were too busy enjoying it to remember to take too many pictures. We did get some in July, so we'll share those soon.
The boys both love to help in the yard. I almost had to get a second kiddie lawn mower because there was a fight over who got to help. Luckily Nathan decided it was okay to help mommy in the garden and let Logan mow with daddy. So sweet to watch them. And on days when it is way too hot to "help" they will watch at the window and wait for Daddy to come by so they can wave.

And then it was time to wash the cars. Oh my gosh they were so excited to help. Of course the front of the cars got washed about 5 times each, but still. Nathan really liked dunking his towel in the bucket because it meant he got even more wet. Took a little longer since everything had to be rinsed multiple times, but it was a fun afternoon.
