So Justin and I had scheduled to have Logan and Nathan dedicated at church on Mother's Day. Well Logan got his staph infection and we were on our way home from the hospital at the time church started. So we missed it. We were able to get it rescheduled and had it done on Father's Day. It was a sweet day to be able to this and a memory we will have forever. We were blessed to have Grandma and Grandpa Smith, Grammie & Papa, Great Grandmother and Granddad, Uncle James, Aunt Kim, Izzy and Aunt Meagan there to share in this special moment.
In the picture you can see Logan looking up. He saw himself on the big screen that is set up at the back of the church. I think he was a little shocked to see himself so big. Each boy reached a bible and I got 2 roses. We feel so blessed to have found a church home that will help us to raise our boys to love and serve the Lord. And it was even more special that we were able to do it together. Our sweet little family.
After church we all went back to the house for some lunch and relaxation. We had a grand meal and sweet sweet desserts. Logan entertained everyone while the last bit of the food cooked. Then he crashed. Nathan and Izzy had fun on the floor playing together after their naps. We got them rolling toward each other (with help), holding hands and talking (pictures to come in a different post). Then after everyone went home and we wrapped up the night Nathan gave us one more special treat for Father's Day... he rolled over by himself. It was a wonderful and sweet way to wrap up our wonderful day.
