Nathan's eating....

So on June 1st Nathan had his 4 month check up. He weighed in at at a whopping 16 lbs 3 oz, 26 1/2 inches. I thought for sure he was bigger than Logan was at this age. But Logan was actually 10 oz bigger. Oh well. Still a big kid. The doctor was impressed with what he is doing, finding his toes, talking, cooing, acting like he might roll over and drooling and chewing on everything. So we got the go ahead to start cereal since Nathan is always acting like he is hungry. Unfortunately at the check up we also find an ear infection and an eye infection. So he was on meds. So we had to wait a few extra days before we could start eating. First time on meds didn't want a reaction to happen and not know where it came from. So on June 4 we were finally able to get itty bit some cereal. The first day he did really good. I had it pretty milked out. So it was almost bottle from. But he did good with the spoon. Daddy had fun giving out the first meal. Then Saturday at dinner time I made it a little thicker. Didn't go over quite as good. But once I got Nathan a spoon of his own to hold he did really good. So he has been eating for a week now. Of the fun begins of trying out new things. We'll keep you posted as we begin veggies. I think we are going to wait at least 2 to 3 weeks before we try anything else.
